Whitetail Deer Hunt Details:
Included in the Hunt:
Fully furnished modern housekeeping style cabins
Meat hanging pole and ice house use for warmer weather hunts
Guide service (based on 1 guide/ 2hunters)
Ground blinds if needed
In-Field animal retrieval aid
Not Included:
Deer License (approx $180CAN - non-resident)
Export permit - needed to take deer into US ($35CAN)
Ground transportation for the hunt - any 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive vehicle is sufficient
We do have transportation available for an extra fee
Weapon Declarations Import Form Fee (approx. $25CAN) -for declaring and importing a firearm at the border
Recommended Items to bring for deer hunt:
Rifle / muzzleloader / bow (weapon of your choice)
Extra ammunition
Warm clothing
Rain gear
Groceries (Atikokan does offer an excellent grocery store on the way in to the camp -just 15 minutes away)
Portable tree stands if desired (ladder stands or climbers)
Ground blind if you have personal preferance
Personal ATV (with helmet)
Binoculars
Backpack for packing snacks and lunch, and miscellaneous gear
Compass (or GPS unit if preferred)
Matches
Hunting knife
Camera / Video camcorder
Coolers to pack meat in if during warmer weather hunt
Blaze orange jacket or hunting vest and blaze orange cap/hat
Previous hunting license from either Ontario or home state to prove hunting experience (needed to purchase new Ontario hunting license for current year)
Current Driver's License for border crossing identification and for background check to import a firearm at the border

Full game processing at the local butcher shop if you prefer to have your game all cut and packaged for the trip home
local taxidermy shop if you prefer to have your trophy mounted here in Atikokan and shipped to you when completed
